New Lenox Township
Annette Vogt (pronounced vote) is the Chair for the New Lenox Township Democratic Organization, a Precinct Committeeperson for New Lenox Precinct 16 and is currently running for Township Trustee in the April 1st, 2025, Consolidated Election.
Annette is married, has two grown children and is a 26 year resident of New Lenox. She is a semi-retired Advertising Associate Creative Director https://www.avogtcreates.com After 30+ years in Direct Marketing and Advertising, she is realigning her skills to give back to the community she loves and focus on her neighbors by running for New Lenox Township Trustee.
For over two decades she’s watched as the same party walk into ALL of the positions of the Township without any other representation in the mix. In 2025 Annette has entered the race and is asking the 36% of Independent and Democratic voters in this Township for one seat at the otherwise 100% Republican table.
There are four Trustee positions up for election but you do NOT have to vote for four. She is asking you to vote ONE vote FOR Vogt. The only way to take this seat is to have every Independent, Democratic & Center Republican vote in the April 1st Consolidated Election for a single shot/bullet vote for one candidate. Three of her opponents will win with or without your vote, therefore, if you want some representational balance, this is the only way to win a seat in a 2:1 race.
